1 powerful reason why i allow my daugther to bring her samsung t139 prepaid to school.

I dont know about you, but my cell phone is a very important part of my life.

I have been the owner and proud user of cellphones since the age of 16. I use to take my phone to school and all even though my high school (Cooley high school) didnt allow them.

Most schools in America do not like the ideal of students walking around using cellphones, and i can totally understand where the concern comes in at.

The crazy part is alot of schools look at teenagers who bring cellphones to school as drug dealers.. shame, shame, shame if you ask me.

The school my 14 year old daughter (Jazmine) goes to has a strict policy when it comes to student cell phone usage.

Look at it from my point of view: I brought my daughter a cellphone "Samsung t139 prepaid phone (t-mobile)" for a particular reason, mainly emergency's. This is my daughter right here, isnt she beautiful?

I love her to death and for that reason her mom and i want to always beable to contact her and vise verse.. EVEN WHILE SHES AT SCHOOL.

To keep alot of confussion down, i just told her to keep her phone out of sight in her back-pack or purse and if she ever needs to reach me im only a txt or phone call away (emergency purposes only of course).

Last year my daughters high school principal and i had a minor disagreement about new cellphone rules and regulations for students.

Get this, the damn school adopted a zero tolerance policy for students caught with cellphones. As you probably guessed it, my daughter was one of the un-lucky few caught with her phone.

The silly part is she was texting me to let me to she's getting out of school early so i can pick her up. Her principal (Mr. Jackass, im sorry.. i mean Mr. Jackson) suspended her for a week and the next day me and Mr. Jackson had words.

To make a long story short, things are still the same. I still want my daughter to have her samsung t139 prepaid at all times which puts my mind at ease.. some what lol.

Think back to the Columbine high school shootings back in 1999.. wouldnt you want your child to beable to reach you and vise verse?

So what are the pros and cons of this situation?-

There are plenty of people on both sides of this major issue (you already know where i stand).

People on the pro side of this argue that they wanna be able to reach there kids, with ease if a serious situation arises.

I stay busy with work plus i have to deal with my daughter after school activities school as..

* Track..

* Basketball and..

* Theater, shes a busy young lady lol.

Sure, cellphones can cause a distraction. But i feel if you explain whats what with your child everything should flow smoothly.

I remind my daughter almost everyday to make sure she keeps her cell phone on vibrate and out of sight.

I also remind her not to text or make phone calls for the hell of it. I feel this is a topic which will stay heated for years to come.

You know where i stand on this situation.. so where do you stand?

Samsung t139 prepaid phone (t-mobile)

Samsung t139 prepaid phone (t-mobile) review-

How you doing today my friend? Good i hope.

I was recently given the opportunity to test out the Samsung t139 prepaid phone (t-mobile).

Did you know that T-mobile prepaid plans provides us with wireless access without the "over the top" commitments?

Here's what I liked about it: THE PROS-

I love being able to pay and talk on the go. No darn contracts, no silly credit checks, AND NO MONTHLY BILL.

I am provided with a couple great options to refill my T-mobile prepaid plan so im always talking with family and friends no matter what.

With samsung t139 prepaid, my payment options are..

* Using web2go str8 from my phone to make a payment..

* Or i can use a refill card which just so happens to be available everywhere nationwide (this is my favorite payment option).

After recently learning that adding $100 bucks in refills makes me a gold rewards customer which provides me with 15% more minutes for all refills, i knew i made the right choice.

Did you know that you only have to pay $1.00 buck per day for unlimited nights with unlimited nationwide calling to any and all T-mobile numbers? How cool is that?

So what does the T-mobile pay as you go service include?

* Nationwide long distance..

* Caller ID, voice mail, call waiting and, 3way calling..

* A free e-mail address..

* Nationwide roaming on T-mobiles United States network..

What about services which i must pay a fee?

* Text messaging (10 cents for sending or receiving)..

* Picture messaging (25 cents for sending or receiving)..

* 411 directory (1.79 per call)

* International dialing to over 150 countries, but international rates will apply.

In order to get your phone number active, its important to refill your account within 90 days after your minutes are gone. If not your account will be erased and your number will be lost, but you can always activate a new service.

My Samsung t139 prepaid phone (t-mobile) features include..

* An VGA camera.. (which i love)..

* Blue tooth..

* Personal organizer and..

* Up to 4 hours talk time with full battery, so you can talk your butt off lol..

* SMS text with MMS picture messaging..

* Web browser (very unique for my samsung t139 prepaid)..

* Voice recorder..

* Speaker phone..

* Instant messaging including AIM, WINDOWS live, and also Yahoo (im always using yahoo messenger lol).

* A phonebook which allows up to 300 entry's..

What I didn't like about it: THE CONS-

Its not a top of the line phone, but it will serve your needs just fine as far as text messaging, phone calls and web surfing is concerned.

I pay around 35 to 40 bucks a month, but im doing nothing more than sending text messages and making local calls and 1 or 2 long distance calls.

THE VERDICT:

I love this phone, i use to have sprint but after switching i must say.. the service is better and my bill is 50 bucks cheaper. NEED I SAY ANY MORE MY FRIEND?

I hope my review has provided you with more insight into the Samsung t139 prepaid phone (t-mobile).

Sure its not an I-phone.. but it does just what its suppose to do at a price i can live with. Checkout what people have to say about this phone over at Amazon.com. Have a great day my friend!
